So we have had this Disney World vacation planned for many months.
The weather people had been warning of an impending snow and ice event.
Every time I mentioned to Robin we need to leave early, she would say something like "Where is my faith?".
So me being the good husband I am, started praying Lord get her attention.
Friday morning at work I get this call from Robin...."We have to leave tonight!!"...Thank you Jesus.
So we did. We left after I got packed. Thankfully Robin had her and JC packed already.
So we loaded up the van and left. When we left there was an quarter inch of snow on the van.
We drove to Florence SC, figuring that would be far enough south, and stayed the night.

Saturday morning arrived. We went to the Shoneys next door for the Breakfast Buffet.
Then when we left we noticed there was freezing rain all night.
We stopped seeing Ice 40 miles south of Florence SC. |

This was JC watching his DVD player, complete with Remote while we drove Saturday.
Saturdays driving from Florence to Orlando was rain almost the entire trip. |
We arrived in Orlando and checked into our condo, went to the grocery store and ate.
Then settled for the start of the week. The condo we are in is Awesome.

We started our day going to EPCOT.
The weather was cooler than expected.
And for the first time we were able to go into the Spaceship Earth. It was open. |
