Welcome to the FOREX page. FOREX is short for Foreign Currency Exchange.

Let me tell a short story. In 1989 I went to work for Wachovia Bank. One day in my training I asked "Why does the business day end at 2:00 PM?". The answer was "So the bank could have time to balance the books for the day. Then take the money out and invest in over night investments".

Being the brilliant person that I am I asked "What investments are over night, and how could I?".
After several days they had an answer and it was "in Foreign Currencies, and you must have $250,000,000".

Now fast forward to 2008, the laws have changed and individual investors can now invest in the Foreign Currency Market. By the way your bank still does, as well as most major corporations.

One of the great thing about FOREX is you can make money if the market is going up or down. IN FOREX you are either buying or selling in pairs. Study at BabyPips to learn.

Think of this. Using a high speed Internet connection. You use the Internet to collect money. No recruiting. No sales. No having to chase people. It is all you using the Internet to collect money.

The challenge is you. You will face your self. You will learn to deal with greed, excitment, anger and many other feeleings and emotions. That is the downfall. You must be disciplined.

You will need a trading platform, or what is called a trading station.
I am using the broker FXCM. They provide a free trading platform. Even a mobile app for use on Android devices.
One of the things I like about FXCM, is they allow Micro pip accounts. So you can trade at a penny per pip.
Instead of a dollar per pip. This so you can learn new things without breaking the bank.
I recommend starting with the free Demo Account.
You can use a Demo account until you think you are ready to trade real money.
Then you can start with a small amount and build it from there.
